Starting in 2020, all CDL holders were required to register for the Clearinghouse. The Clearinghouse is for, in context for this post; tracking the status of the individuals who fail drug or alcohol tests without current/prospective employers having to contact previous employers.
*side note: If you staff CDL holders and need assistance with any ofthis; we can help! *
If this is you; after you failed that drug test, you went to get drug counseling from a SAP counselor, and then completed a Return to Duty test. Once that "Prohibited Driver" status was removed, you got back on the truck and forgot all about the follow up plan from that SAP counselor.
Well, if you haven't yet gotten a letter from the Clearinghouse about your violation being open for too long, it's coming. If you don't complete the requirements of the plan, and have your violation closed; your license may get downgraded until you do.
If you're an owner operator; email us (info@icuppscreen.com) and let's talk about how we can help you get your and/or your drivers'; SAP plan resolved. Let's avoid
unnecessary downgrades!
